These Fountain Hills homeowners were ready for a new look in their kitchen. They were tired of the outdated dark cabinetry and boring brown granite countertops. They also desired a more functional layout for cooking and entertaining.
We started the project by tearing out the entire kitchen and replacing the cabinets, appliances, and granite countertops. We moved the island and reconfigured the layout slightly for better functionality. The new cabinetry and countertops are lighter, for a brighter and more open space desired by the homeowners.
In addition to building out the new kitchen, we removed the ceiling soffits to bring the cabinets all the way to the ceiling to open up the space and provide more available storage. This simple change in a kitchen remodel can completely elevate the look of the room and bring it current.
The finished kitchen included higher-end appliances and dramatic lighting above and below the cabinets. The backsplash is a 4″x16″ Gioia porcelain subway tile placed in a brick pattern. Long and thin subway tiles placed in a brick pattern is a current kitchen trend we are installing more often. The countertops our team installed are beautiful white Vienna leather granite.
With careful demolition and repairs, we were able to keep the existing travertine tile flooring and tie in the color palette of the new kitchen beautifully.
This Fountain Hills kitchen was a gorgeous remodel that our team is very proud of. If you are looking to get rid of your outdated, boring, and dark kitchen, please contact us to discuss your design ideas.
