It was clear this master bathroom was in desperate need for an upgrade. These homeowners were understandably sick of the outdated pink tile in the shower and countertops, as we all know that style disappeared decades ago. As you can see from the photos, we gutted most of the bathroom except the slate flooring.
This couple had inquired about our services months earlier and were willing to wait because they knew of our reputation and experience with these types of projects. We are thankful for clients such as these who know it sometimes takes patience to get a professional finished project on time and within budget.
We started out by removing the bathtub and tile surround. A new deeper tub and gorgeous 4″x4″ Noce travertine tiles tile to match another bathroom were installed in a similar configuration. Since the Pandemic caused material delays, we replaced the builder grade cabinets and counters with upgraded materials as a phase two of the project a couple months later.
The new cabinets are a beautiful natural maple with clean lines for a contemporary look. The granite countertops that they chose are a real show stopper in a unique reddish color called Lapidus. These countertops are the focal point of the bathroom and tie together the maple cabinets with the beautiful travertine tile tub surround.
The only portion of this bathroom that we didn’t remodel was the flooring. They had contracted a floor tile company previously to install floor tile after we were finished, which tied the colors of the bathroom together with this unique natural slate flooring.
We are proud of this project and proud that these homeowners insisted to wait for our experienced team to work on their home. If you are looking for a contractor to remodel your master bathroom, give us a call to discuss ideas, and schedule a free consultation.
