We had the pleasure of working with these homeowners who had planned to remodel their home when they moved in… 10 years ago! It was far past due for a facelift and we were happy to lend a hand.
Master Bathroom Remodel
They were ready to rip out their builder-grade bathroom and replace it with a chic and stylish master bathroom they would enjoy spending time in. This required a full demo of the cabinets, standing shower and bathtub. They kept the original floor plan, with all new upgraded materials.
The current trend for cabinets is a blue/grey color with light quartz countertops. The brushed stainless hardware compliments the cool tones these homeowners chose. They chose an upgraded herringbone tile floor pattern using large rectangular grey-toned porcelain tiles.
We continued with grey-toned porcelain tiles in the standing shower. We created an accent section behind the plumbing fixtures by stacking rectangular tiles horizontally from the floor to the top of the shower stall. The base of the shower stall and the storage niche was tiled with small complementary 2″x2″ tiles. Large glass panels enclose the shower stall, allowing for excellent natural lighting.
The enormous cultured marble corner tub definitely had to go. It was replaced with a contemporary free-standing bathtub perfect for relaxing. The grey porcelain tiles surround the base of the tub, and go up the walls for added protection against moisture. For an added touch, we had a piece of matching quartz stone cut to fit perfectly below the window, creating a lovely shelf for bathing supplies.
The Sage blue contemporary cabinets are the showstoppers of this bathroom. While all the other bathroom elements are neutral colors, these cabinets offer a little color and elevate the style. Not only do they have a large double sink, they also have a delightful makeup desk in this master suite. We installed simple round mirrors and lighting over all 3 areas.
These Scottsdale homeowners made beautiful design choices and it all came together into a show-stopping master bathroom remodel.
The kitchen was a far simpler project. For this remodel, they decided to keep the existing cabinets and just upgrade the countertops and the backsplash. This simple kitchen remodel can completely transform a kitchen from old and dark to bright and fresh without spending a ton of money on a full kitchen remodel. This is a great choice if you have high quality cabinets and you’re happy with the overall floor plan of your kitchen.
In the kitchen they also chose a simple white quartz countertop and for the backsplash a whimsical flowing white tile design. They were ready for new appliances, and the stainless ones they chose also brought this kitchen up to date.
